While watching we created a chart with 4 sections - left side Myra (victim) and right side (Ron Polokoff (accused). Top half of page was for testimonial evidence - by any and all connected to the case. Bottom half were about physical evidence related to the case. On the back of your paper - there is space for questions and distractors that may or may not be relevant to the case.
Tomorrow, we will have a guest speaker and then we will be breaking into juries to decide the outcome of this case.
Sadly, several of you were sick today and missed watching the episode. If you can find it online (legally) and have time to watch it - great. Or, you can come to flex to watch it. It will take about 45 minutes.
If you are unable to watch the episode and are able to attend tomorrow, don't worry, I will have you involved in the jury experience in a different way. So you may not participate the same way but you will be able to participate.
***Point of Interest: Law and Order SVU this week - Wednesday night on NBC
The episode will be addressing the "Vaccination debate" we used in our
"flawed law" opening assignment. It would be great to follow up and see how
they handle the issue this time. The "flawed law" assignment was inspired by
an earlier Vaccination debate episode.
